Why We're Building Arcwork

A solo engineer's mission to fix artwork chaos across any industry.

The Story

I've spent the last 8 years as a software engineer at Salesforce, building enterprise systems that handle critical business processes. I've seen how well-designed software can transform how organizations work.

But through conversations with QA directors, regulatory managers, and design teams, I discovered a critical gap: artwork management is stuck in email/spreadsheet chaos across every industry—pharma, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, FMCG, and more.

A single product label needs routing through QA, Regulatory, Marketing, Legal. Versions scatter across emails and local drives. Compliance mistakes cost launches. There's no audit trail. It's not bad processes—it's missing tooling.

So I'm building Arcwork.

At Salesforce, I built systems handling complex approval workflows at enterprise scale. I learned that good tooling eliminates bottlenecks. Arcwork applies that thinking: one platform for annotation, approval routing, compliance validation, and audit logs. For any industry managing artwork.

The MVP is live. Canvas annotation, workflow engine, AI compliance checks, version diffing, audit trails. We're starting with India-based companies and expanding globally.

Why Solo?

I'm building this solo because I'm focused on getting the MVP right before scaling. One person with deep domain expertise beats a team without context. As we grow and bring on pilot customers, we'll expand the team based on their needs.

What's Different?

  • check Compliance-First Design: Built for regulated industries from day one. Audit trails, e-signatures, immutable logs—not bolted on later
  • check Enterprise SaaS Experience: I understand what it takes to build software large organizations can depend on
  • check Ruthless Simplicity: Every feature serves a regulatory or operational need—no bloat
  • check Transparency: I'm sharing the roadmap, being honest about timelines, and involving early customers in development
